This is a teaching plan for a unit of work about minerals in Queensland, their mining and processing and the properties of the metals derived from them. It consists of a tabulated sequence of lesson topics and key concepts together with suggested strategies and resources. It makes extensive use of hyperlinks to resources from the Queensland Resources Council’s Oresome Resources website as well as other sites.
