This module covers fundamental mechanical knowledge and the ability to understand basic mechanical principles. The questions presented give several scenarios where this technical knowledge must be applied to answer questions correctly.

This resource examines comprehension rather than technical knowledge and is designed as an introduction to the QMEA Apprentice Aptitude test training program.

Mechanical reasoning development is important for individuals, and to ensure there are enough skilled technical and trades people for the future. In the resources sector, there is a need for skilled people in the areas of:
